About

My name is Ian Thomas Jansen-Lonnquist, my parents gave me two first-names and two last-names, whenever I meet someone new, if we have nothing else to talk about, we talk about my name. I’m a photographer based out of Burlington, Vt., with aspirations and impulse to see and experience the wider world outside of my beautiful little state.

Hey I usually go by Mattheas (originally Matthew Aaron Dunkirk-Greenbaum, I’m a photographer/artist/traveller based out of Minneapolis and I know exactly where you’re coming from. I have a rediculous awesome name too. A lot of the time promoting myself I’m not sure what name to use cos I know they won’t remember the whole thing. So I usually just go with Mattheas, still hard to remember but much easier than the whole and more unique than just Matthew. Anyway, I feel you, brother.

Mr. Jansen Lonquist, are you the writer who penned the following column in the New York Times https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/10/us/politics/marco-rubio-obamacare-affordable-care-act.html?_r=0 If so I would like to thank you because it has given me the opportunity to leave my political complacency behind.

    • Hi Marla, I am not the one who wrote the article. My image merely accompanied the column. Best, Ian
